Thank you for your suggestions! We have taken into account your frustrations and are quite impressed by your design I.Q.! Our resort collection is well underway and we are happy to present to you the 2008 spring color forecast. The coming year invites rich succulent hues, inspired by the most brilliant details of mother nature. Red, purple, and green are paired with shades of gray, and brown, and bright white with splashes of accent colors. Our palette is being carefully thought out and tweaked to compliment all skin tones. The silhouettes for Spring '08 are both fitted and flowing to accommodate for every pregnant fashionista's dream wardrobe and each of our textiles are selected with comfort and ease in mind. We look forward to phase three: production!

If Mama Ain't Happy, Ain't Nobody Happy!
The saying is true (trust me, I know!) and at Mums the Word, we have taken the happiness of our mothers-to-be seriously.
Resort '08 will consist of only the best; Weightless textiles, rich colors, and smart construction are reasons enough to anticipate the savory goodness of each article of clothing. Maternity duds are a thing of the past; Mod moms have made a comeback in fresh, made to fit garments that allow for an extra measure of glow!
Ladies and gentlemen, pull out the bassinet; Your (happily married) daughters will love our latest collection so much that they will gladly make you grandparents, simply for the perk of having a closet full of fabulous threads.

Welcome!
This blog was created in conjunction with a Senior Thesis class at Auburn University. We are four undergraduate students studying Apparel Manufacturing, Production, and Design; And have been presented with the challenge of creating a company whose current project is a line of maternity resort wear for (Spring/Summer) 2008.
The purpose of this site is to track the progress of our work and to collect ideas, opinions, and advice from our target consumers, first hand. So ladies! Here is your chance to tell us what you desire for your big belly wardrobe. We believe that you should not have to sacrifice the integrity and fun of your every day wear for the sake of functional comfort. Why not have both?
