Welcome!

This blog was created in conjunction with a Senior Thesis class at Auburn University. We are four undergraduate students studying Apparel Manufacturing, Production, and Design; And have been presented with the challenge of creating a company whose current project is a line of maternity resort wear for (Spring/Summer) 2008.

The purpose of this site is to track the progress of our work and to collect ideas, opinions, and advice from our target consumers, first hand. So ladies! Here is your chance to tell us what you desire for your big belly wardrobe. We believe that you should not have to sacrifice the integrity and fun of your every day wear for the sake of functional comfort. Why not have both?

Click on the comments icon and post your thoughts. What are your favorite colors, textures, design details, and so forth?
We are interested in you!

Mums the word!

From,

The Design Team

I would have liked polo shirts that are a little longer than normal shirts but looked fitted with a pooch. I hated shirts that made you look like you were wearing a man's shirts. So fitted tees etc. with a pooch area are great!

I am in the in-between phase of my pregnancy where I am too big for my regular clothes but most maternity clothes are still too big. I would like more cute pants that fit now, with an option to grow. A lot of the choices out there have ugly waistbands. I would also like more shirt options: fitted, long and stretchy.
Good luck!

I am 5'2" tall and I cannot find any pants to fit. Most pants are not only too long but also too long waisted. They also tend to hang down too far between your legs. A petite line would be great!

Also, I would like to see more dresses that cinch or fit snug under your belly. That way they don't just hang down from your large belly and make you look like your wearing a big bag.

Hope this helps!
